    • DESCRIPTION

Pedro Gomez's outerwear was born in the mountains. We wanted to make something durable and ready for any adventure.
That's why we selected our waxed canvas fabric for this special edition. The fleets of North Sea Scottish Herring, who operated from the ports on the east coast, began treating their linen cloth with fish oils and animal fats in an attempt to waterproof their sails, keeping them light and efficient
When these sails broke by the constant use, their pieces were used as layers to resist strong winds and sea mist, keeping sailors warm and dry.

These layers are the pioneers of the famous raincoats fishermen used to wear during their working hours.

The vest padding is made with Eldeven* 90% Pyrenean Duck Downs and 10% of Feathers, all coming from sustainable processes.

Linning is made from the famous Pedro Gomez burgundy fabric used for sleeping bags, giving a personal touch of color to this beautiful mustard-waxed canvas. It comes with 4 exterior pockets (one flap pocket and one 3x tools pocket), one inside pocket with zipper, and our signature leather piece in the back.

    • MATERIAL

Originally the concept of the waxed canvas was developed at the beginning of XV. Century by English sailors. The fleets of North Sea Scottish Herring, who operated from the ports on the east coast, began treating the linen cloth with fish oils and animal fats in an attempt to waterproof their sails, keeping them light and efficient. When these sails were broken by use, their pieces were used as layers to resist strong winds and sea mist, keeping sailors warm and dry. These layers were the pioneer of the famous raincoats fishermen used to wear during their working hours. Eldeven is the most sustainable and high-quality brand you can find for Pyrenean Duck Downs. They will keep you warm even in the coldest weather.

Sick and tired of planned obsolescence, we decided to make our products last, like in the old times. Products based on the best raw materials, and the best artisan hands.

This should never be seen as an imperfection but as a unique natural character from each of the products we develop.
