Repairs
If one of your Café product(s) needs to be repaired, please start by writing us to let us know at shop@cafeleathersupply.com. In your email please include your name, order number, and the reason for repair. Final and most important step: attach at least one image of the affected area so that we can determine the best course of treatment. Upon receiving your repair request, we’ll let you know what we can do about it.
Replacements
If your Café product can not be repaired and it is used for its intended purpose, we will gladly replace the item if still in stock. Otherwise, we can offer store credit or a return for the item during the life of the product.
*Café reserves the right to decide if the product has been used properly or not.

DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the work briefcases, this 24-hour waxed canvas and leather briefcase is a product that will last a lifetime. A sustainable investment that will get better with the passing of time, thanks to the vegetable-tanned leather and waxed 18oZ canvas. The same fabric Scottish sailors used to protect themselves from the winds and storms in the 15th century.
Organic cotton fabric impregnated with beeswax gives it unique qualities, among others, waterproofing.
The hardware is made of solid brass and hammered copper rivets, making it practically unbreakable. Perfect for your day-to-day in the city or the countryside.
With an ergonomic design focused on comfort, thanks to the shoulder strap and handle, without forgetting the trolley strap. So you can carry weight for hours without hardly noticing.
The briefcase is quite spacious. It consists of two outer pockets, and the main one with a YKK Excella polished zipper, divided into another four inside pockets. Perfect for storing your laptop, documents, devices, cables, and even some clothes, shoes, or cameras.
Probably the last briefcase you will need for the rest of your life because no matter how many years go by, it will get better with time.

Nuestra piel proviene única y exclusivamente de procesos sostenibles, siguiendo un riguroso proceso de selección y utilizando únicamente métodos artesanales. Esta piel evolucionará con el tiempo y creará una pátina única que le dará un toque muy personal.
Originalmente, el concepto del tejido encerado se desarrolló a principios del siglo XV, el siglo por excelencia para los marineros. Las flotas de arenque escocés del mar del Norte, que operaban desde los puertos de la costa este, comenzaron a tratar las velas de sus barcos con aceites de pescado y grasas animales en un intento de impermeabilizar sus velas, manteniéndolas ligeras y eficientes. Cuando estas velas se rompieron por el uso, sus piezas se utilizaron como capas para resistir los fuertes vientos y la niebla del mar, manteniendo a los marineros calientes y secos. Estas capas fueron las pioneras del famoso impermeable de pescador.
